Emma Heneghan

you sent me an instagram post about my drawing of hozier earlier Smiling face with smiling eyes.
My names emma heneghan, I’m 18 years old and Irish.
I love music and especially great Irish musicians like hozier. His music is really meaningful and deep And he is so talented. I’ve been a fan of his since I saw him play at soulfest in Merrion square in 2013.
I love art, its a way for me to express my feelings and ideas, and it’s great for a break from studying.
Thanks,
Emma heneghan

Emma,

Your drawing is amazing. I just fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I’ve been a fan of Irish music for a long time. When I was 8 we moved from a predominately Portuguese (my heritage)/Italian neighborhood to an predominately Irish one. I was amazing the first time I made a red head friend with freckles. I grew up hearing as many stories of the “Old sod” as I did hearing about the the lagoons and volcanic springs in Portugal. I hope to get there one day, well I actually was if you want to call a 1 hour layover in Galway airport being to Ireland.

If you ever draw him again or the lyrics to a song inspires you, please feel free to pass them along. I’d love to add it to your collection.

Be well, and thank you!

Sorry, I’m a francophone. So my english is very bad. I hope that you understand?! Winking face

Marie-Noelle,

The drawing is so lovely. Yes, I understood what you were trying to say. That you had not drawn in 10 years, and that Hozier inspired you to draw again.

I’m sure that if he ever sees this that he will feel humbled by his affect on your life. Music is a unifier, his is also a healer. UnknownMuch love from the USA. If you ever draw again, please send it to me, Okay?

Lucy

Marie-Noelle is painting now. She calls Hozier her muse.

The title is To have Faith/strong>, same in the dark moments, we must have faith. Doesn’t matters that you believe. This is not religious, but faith is absolutly necessary in the life…
Thank you to be there…

Without doubt there can never be any faith. Just as God does not exist as God if there is no one to believe in Her/Him/It.

Feeling Fairyish

tumblr_ncj19liA9L1toqg73o1_500

“Maggie, or as she is known on the internet, Feeling Fairyish, is a 16 year-old artist who hopes to become an illustrator and work in visual development for animation. She first heard Hozier’s Take Me To Church eons ago (or the summer of 2013, which is eons ago in teenage time), and she’s been a devoted follower ever since. She especially loves the way his music sounds like a combination of Irish folk music and classic soul, two of the genres she loves the most! If you like her work, you can follow her at feelingfairyish, and buy her art on Society6 !”

Thank you so much:)
