“We tried the world, it wasn’t for us”

Special note: As some of you may know, all of the scars on my body that are visible (my arm and my hip) are very real and still very traumatizing to me. I wanted to disclose that those parts are completely real and have had no editing because this piece speaks a lot more to me than my usual pieces. The woman laying upon my dead body is also a very close friend I have grown up with who also suffered from suicidal tendencies, just as I did. The photo, to me, represents how even in our darkest of moments, we are still connected and at peace. There is always a way through the pain. Do not ever let it rule you.
